What does Qtywise provide?

Qtywise provides calculations and explanations to help with measurements, material quantities and project planning. Tools may support unit conversions, ordering allowances, product quantities or cost estimates. Each tool has its own inputs, assumptions and limitations.

Access to the current tools does not require a purchase. We may add, update or discontinue features as the website develops.

How should you use calculator results?

Results depend on the values you enter, the selected units and the calculation method shown on the page. You are responsible for checking measurements, product information and assumptions before relying on an estimate.

• Use consistent units and confirm whether the tool needs length, area, volume or weight.
• Use actual product coverage, yield or supplier density when required.
• Check waste allowances and whole-package rounding separately.
• Confirm prices, delivery units and availability with your supplier.
• Check local requirements and project-specific plans before starting work.

Worked examples and reference figures illustrate a method. They are not a promise that the same quantities or costs apply to your project.

Do the tools replace professional advice?

No. Qtywise does not provide a project-specific engineering design, inspection, quotation or approval. Calculator output does not establish structural adequacy, code compliance, safe installation or suitability for a particular site.

Consult an appropriately qualified professional when your project involves structural work, regulated installations, safety-critical decisions or other matters requiring specialist assessment. Follow product instructions and applicable local requirements.

What use of the site is permitted?

You may use the tools for personal or business planning, read the articles, share links and keep copies of your calculation results. Use the site lawfully and avoid actions that interfere with other visitors or the service.

Do not attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, bypass access restrictions, overload the website or use it to distribute unlawful content. Do not misrepresent Qtywise as the designer, approver or contractor for your project.

How can you share, cite or embed a tool?

You may share a page link and cite Qtywise as the source of a calculation. When citing a particular result, include the tool URL, calculation date, inputs and relevant assumptions so another person can understand how the result was produced.

Where a tool offers an embed feature, you may use the supplied embed code to display it on another website. Keep the visible Qtywise attribution and link intact. Do not alter an embed to imply an endorsement or approval by Qtywise. Embedded tools remain subject to these Terms and may change or become unavailable.

Review a worksheet or shared result before sending it to someone else, especially if it contains project or personal information.

Who owns the content?

Qtywise’s original articles, interface designs, code and other original material are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Third-party material, names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Ordinary linking, permitted embeds, personal copies of results and uses allowed by law are welcome. Contact info@qtywise.com before republishing substantial original content or distributing copies of the tool code beyond permissions expressly provided on the site. A mathematical formula or factual measurement is not claimed as exclusive Qtywise property merely because it appears here.

What rules apply to feedback and comments?

Where submissions are enabled, provide relevant, accurate and respectful information. Do not submit spam, unlawful material, harassment, confidential information or content you do not have permission to share. Public comments may be moderated, edited for clarity or removed.

You retain rights in your own submissions. By sending content for public posting, you allow Qtywise to display and reasonably format it for that purpose. Private messages are handled as correspondence, not as permission to publish your personal details.

What about external links and advertisements?

Source links, manufacturer references, advertisements and sharing features may take you to third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. A link or mention does not mean Qtywise guarantees or endorses every statement, product or service on that website.

Check third-party information, prices and product specifications directly with the relevant provider before making a decision.

How is personal information handled?

Our Privacy Policy explains calculator inputs, browser storage, messages, feedback and other information-handling practices. Read it before submitting personal information or using a sharing feature.

What if the site or a calculation contains an error?

We aim to make the tools and explanations useful, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every page is free of errors. Features, formulas, examples and reference information may be corrected or updated.

If a result seems wrong, stop and check the units, inputs and assumptions. Report the issue with the page URL, your input values and the result you expected. Recheck saved calculations if the tool or your project information changes.

What limitations apply?

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its estimates are provided as available, without a guarantee that they will meet every project requirement. Qtywise is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect inputs, unsupported assumptions or use of estimates without appropriate verification, to the extent the law allows that limitation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes any mandatory consumer rights you have. Applicable law takes priority over any conflicting provision.

Can these Terms change?

We may revise these Terms when the website or its features change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Review the page when using new features; revised Terms apply to use after they take effect, subject to applicable law.
